Woo-Hoo!! It's Friday!!!!

Yea!! I'm sooo happy it's Friday. This week has been so hectic I forgot all about this post! I had sent this before the holiday to Karen but with the holiday and me being on the east coast and her on the west coast, it took over a week to get to her. And of course I completely forgot all about this. When she emailed me to thank me, I was reading the email going Huh? what is she talking about? Then it hit me, oh yeah, I did send her something. OMG, it took me a few minutes to remember, LOL!! I think my life is just a bit too hectic right now, I must sloooow down some - that is my new goal - just breathe and be happy that I can.
With this project, I used the colors red, white and blue to keep with the holiday theme! But I added a little surprise for Karen.....I stamped and colored Tilda on a little bag. Brilliant, aren't I? Well I can't take credit for this...the brilliant person is JANE over at Jane's Lovely Cards!  Is she just not short of INCREDIBLE!!??  Coloring on fabric is somewhat difficult...OK, difficult for me. You have to be very precise because it does bleed. I had practiced on another bag first and boy, was I glad I did! It is very cool though, so I'm sure I'll be doing this again and again and again....

Oh yeah, first the card.. I chose to do an easel card. I had gotten the cutest fence stamp from Cindy over at StampingScrapping and the cutest fence die from PTI. I left the card somewhat un-personlized so that Karen could re-use it if she chooses to.
Now onto the "bag".....to jazz up the plain white bag, I sewed some ribbon and a little lace on it. I also added some little rhinestones using my I-rock tool...it worked great on fabric!!
I used the same stamp and background stamp for the bag and "tried" to color it the same. I'm all about matching... in fact, I think some would even say it's somewhat OCD with me that EVERYTHING must match...oh well, it could be worse, right?
And last but not least, I did embroider her name on the bag on the other side. And of course I stuffed the bag with some goodies for her.
So whatcha think? I do appreciate any comments.
