OK, I have to admit that I had been oohhing and awwing over the "monchrome" colored images I've seen in blogland for quite some time now. It looked so difficult that I never really took the time to try it. But this week's challenge in my CCC yahoo group (and at
Magnolia-Licious Highlites) was black, white and a POP of color. So I thought to myself, "self, why not try it?". The monochrome technique ended up being a lot simpler than I had thought, phew! The card came together rather quickly this morning. I still need practice with my copics, but I think it turned out OK. For my POP, I added
PTI's Aqua Mist. I love this color but seems to get forgotten a lot, so this was the perfect card to use it on.....
I added some black bling, but against the black polka-dot paper, it seems kinda lost. (oh well, I had good intentions, hee-hee). And for the inside:
I'm going to enter this in a Challenge this month (can you believe it? I always want to do this but always seem to be about a month behind, LOL.) Wish me luck :)
