It's Coming Up Roses

Happy Saturday!  Geesh it seems time just flies by these days.  I had planned on posting this earlier this week but before I knew it, it's Saturday!  Oh well, my life's mantra...."Better late than never". (note to self, work on getting a better mantra, LOL).
Anyhoo, here is a new project for you.  I actually did this months ago but was just able to give it to my Mom so I wasn't able to post it.  Believe it not it was for Mother's Day back in May!! Yep, that's how I roll lately, hee-hee, though I must say it looked nice sitting on my Dining room table since then.  While I was making it I had all intentions of mailing it, but once I finished it I hesitated on the mailing 'cuz I wasn't sure how it would handle the trip. Soooo, it sat on my table for about 3 months waiting for me to go see my Mom.  Finally, I was able to go see my Mom and Step Dad last weekend so I got to hand deliver the roses.....good thing they don't wilt :)
Here's some pics for you:
Aren't they just the cutest roses...it's a svg cut file from SVGCuts.com.
And a pic of the "complete package", lol.  I made a card to accompany the flowers and a matching box for the card :)
I used a Kraftin' Kimmie - Sassy Cheryl image for the card. I am in love with those images, they are all so darn adorable, don't you think?
And the last pic! The card is 5-1/2"  x 5-1/2" so you can see how large the flower bouquet is.  It 's a bit time consuming making the flowers but I just love the look of them so I will definitely be making more! (I'm thinking some pink ones for my office!!)
Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.   I'll be back this week to post some cards that I have made but never got around to posting.

Paula this is just simply too darn cute. I looked for some of these darling images that you use but can't find them. I found some but sure haven't seen any that you've used. I really like them with that "wonky" little smile on their faces. What a sweet package for your Mom & I'm sure she would rather have it be hand delivered & a little late ... You're such a sweet daughter ... Everything you make is just too fun & creative.

Paula I absolutely love those roses and the card is adorable! I looked on the website for the roses but really didn't know what to look for. I just know your Mom loved everything but the greatest gift was you hand delivering them. Can hardly wait to see your next creation.....so good to have you back. hugs, Ruth Ann

Hey Paula! Can I be your Mother too? How did you learn to make those beautiful roses. They are really a work of art. And of course you topped it off with this cute card and a box to. When it comes to arts and crafts you reign supreme!
