Happy Fall ya'll

Phew, what a long 3 weeks it has been! I have pneumonia and let me tell you, I never knew how much pain is involved with it!  I have hurt so much lately that it's been tough just to get up.  But 18 days later, I think the pain is gone now, LOL. Now I just have to work my way through the lack of energy and breath, but I'll take this any day over the pain. So during all this, I was able to color a Tilda for a challenge on one of my yahoo groups I belong to.  It took me over a week just to put the card together, but hey, it's finally done.
The challenge was to make a card, use at least 4 layers and dry embossing...oh and have a scarecrow on it.  As for the scarecrow, that was the simple part, at the time I only had 1 scarecrow stamp and yep, it was Tilda!!
I used a my new Impression plate, Chicken Wire from PTI for the dry embossing. I've recently bought several of them and really like them..just wish they were a bit larger, but oh well.
I used quite a few dies on this one....Marianne for the fence and birdhouse, JoyCrafts for the leaves and PTI for the doily behind Tilda. If you ever have a question about any of my cards or projects, just drop me an email and I'll be more than happy to answer them.
And for a sneak peek on the inside....
That's it for me now....gotta go catch my breath and relax a little (yep, just typing this drains me!). Have a good week everyone.

Hey Paula - I am so sorry you have been sick. Not getting enough oxygen is very tiring I know as I have had asthma all my life. So glad the pain is gone - you make sure as you feel better that you still get plenty of rest. You do not want a relapse!!
Your card is beautiful. Such pretty colors. I just love the colors you have used - is as they are bright and muted. Your coloring rally looks great. Very well done. I also like the leaves with the bird house.

Darn blogger anyway !!! I just typed a 3 page comment on here & it disappeared ... Several of my favorite blogs won't let my blogs stay posted. I can see them & Ruth Ann has seen one when I wrote on her's then they disappear. This is the 3rd time I've tried to leave a note for you to say how much I love your card ... Long story short, I LOVE everything about it !!! Tilda makes the cutest scarecrow & the birdhouse & fence are perfect on here. I just got that set & several more from Darlene & have been playing with them today. Sure do love that entire collection of dies.
Glad you're feeling better.
It's nice to have you back making your wonderful creations.
Hugs, Janie
