Wild Thing

Can you believe it..it's me posting!! It feels like forever since I've done anything (creatively that is).  Unfortunately work has been getting in the way,  and just haven't had any time to do anything fun in my studio. BUT this is about to change! Work is getting a bit more bearable and I'm really starting to feel like my mojo is coming back.
During this "all work and no play" period of my life recently I did have to make some party gifts for my niece's 20th birthday party...oh wait, no Anna only turned 13 (just looks like she's about 20!)  She had a sleepover with 3 of her besties, Sophia, Mary, and Caroline.  Anna wanted a "spa party" theme so her mom and I had a manicure station and a pedicure station set up for the girls to play.  After all the nails were painted and bellies were full of pizza, we had a facial station! The girls got to make their own facial scrubs and then apply them to each other. The favorite one of the night was the chocolate...it was so fun to watch the girls trying to lick off the scrub on their faces, hee-hee.
Oh yeah, back to my contribution to the party..I made the girls tote bags embroidered with their names.  I also included a matching cosmetic bag with filled with some manicure goodies for them to take home.
Here is a closeup of the goodies for Sophie:
oh, almost forgot I made them matching pillowcases. All the girls are on the same swim team and travel a lot for swim meets so they could use the personalized pillowcase.  Now, have you guessed the colors that Anna likes??? I'll give you one guess......yep ZEBRA!!!
And since I just can't leave well enough alone, I just had to make a zipper pull with Wild Tilda!!!
Of course I had to add a tag...I mean, really, what's a gift if it doesn't have a tag.....LOL
That's it for me now...but come back soon. I'll have some goodies to show.  Happy week everyone!
