Hey all! I've got another release for Dutch Paper Crafts for some Memory Box dies. First I must say a BIG THANK YOU to Darlene, my goodness this lady is patient. I have had these dies for wayyyyy tooooo loooong. But I was finally able to get the projects finished and mailed off to her. And luckily the package arrived intact (Well a few things had moved, but nothing broken, woo-hoo!!!) I had the pleasure of working with the following dies for this release:
Grand Madison Window, MB815
Grand Shutter, MB832
Flower Box, MB821
Wildflowers, MB820
Ivy Tendrils, MB822
Nestled Bird, MB817
and of course, you can find all of these at Dutch Paper Crafts, HERE.
Now onto my projects. First one is a card with the sentiment "Thank You for Your Hospitality":
On this one I used the Grand Madison Window, Flower Box (as the chair rail moulding), and older Marianne die, LR0150, for the greenery. The sentiment stamp and the flower blossoms are from PTI. Now, after watching Darlene's video (which can be seen HERE.) she was wanting to know about the DP.
Well, here it is....it's a digi print from the wonderful Summer Driggs, and can be found on her site HERE, called A Little Spring in your Step (and matches perfectly with PTI Sweet Blush and Hibiscus Burst!).
Next up is a 4th of July card for all my fellow Americans!!
For this card I used the Grand Madison window, the Grand Shutter, the flower box, the wildflowers, the ivy tendrils, the nestled bird AND threw in the Marianne Sign Board, LR0191 for the flag stand. (the grass on this one is a Fiskars Punch). This was a fun card to make! It has quite a bit of details. I cut the red cardstock to make it look like a board and batten siding and added a lot of dimension...not to sure the pics are going to show it all.
I just printed out a pic of the flag and then cut it to use with the "flagpole".
I printed out a copy of a page of our Constitution for the inside.
Not to sure I could get the dimension showing properly on this card...but doggone it, I tried!
Wait, did someone just say Dog....(good lead in, huh?)
Then for my next project...I had to send something to keep Buddy happy with me. So I made a little goodie bag for him.
What I did here was pick up a "coffee bag" from Michaels and stamped it with a doggie paw print stamp. I cut the Grand Madison window out in black cardstock, cut out the opening in the bag and then put some cellophane over it. I used my MTC software and created the signage "the Dog House". I cut that from Mortimer, for more info on my sweetie you can see him at this post. Mallie picked out some of her favorites and we packed the bag with the goodies for Buddy...hope he likes them!! I think this will make a great gift bag for anyone, it's quick and simple and you can easily dress up any plain bag this way.
So you're still here? Good for you...I've saved the best for last!
It's my FIRST shadowbox!! I must admit, it was a love-hate relationship. I started on this project first and become completely discouraged because it wasn't coming out like I had pictured in my mind. I was at the point of just giving up but then I changed frames and got a bit more optimistic about it. I used a LOT of different dies on this one:
Memory Box: Grand Madison Window, Grand Shutter, Flower Box, Wildflowers, Ivy Tendrils, Bird
Marianne: Tree, LR0203, Bird and Fence (birdhouse), LR205
CheeryLynn: Victorian Fence, B123 and Grass border, B126
Again I got Mortimer to cut out the Welcome sign (I just love him!! He can do just about anything I want him to do!!) and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Oh and the shadowbox frame is from ACMoore.
Hopefully you can see some of the dimension of this project:
Look at the shutter detail from the die, it's fantastic!! I just love these dies! Very easy to work with and easy to make any project a 3D project. I'm working on another project using these dies so stop back by soon and hopefully I get it finished and post it.
Now, run over to Darlene and get these dies before she sells out and then you'll have to wait for another order to come in! Go now!
Let me know if you have any questions!

Good Lord child, am I ever glad I am just seeing this now because if I had seen this post sooner I would have been too drugged to truly appreciate what you accomplished here. I can't say I have a favorite because they are all so very special. How long did it take you do to all this? Really Paula, I knew you were talented but this is really over and beyond the call of duty. Everything on this post should be published in a magazine. Wonderful art work Paula. You are very talented and I cannot say that too many times.
