Hope Your Day is Fabulous!

Here's a card I did this weekend for my Mother's birthday.  I originally started out with something completely different in mind, but once I saw these digi papers from Raspberry Road Designs I knew I had to re-do her card! I just love the "brightness" of this...it reminds me of Spring, which is just around the corner (YEAH).  Once again, I inked up Tilda and once again I used Penny's amazing flowers!! If you haven't checked out Penny Duncan's blog yet, RUN over there and look. You'll be blown away with her talent! Both sentiments are from Papertrey Ink and so are the solid papers and ribbon. I'm actually going to enter this card in 3 challenges!!! I've never entered a card in more than just 1 (and I've only entered cards in 2 challenges ever!), but I found that this card actually fits a few challenges going on now and if I can win one, that'll be some goodies coming my way! 

And I had started out with it just being a "regular" card but changed my mind (again!) and made it into an easel card.

Just Magnolia: Anything Goes with option of glitter   (I added a little bit of Stickles at her dress trim and top of flower - not so sure this shows up with the pictures)

One side note, I actually had a boo-boo while making this card. The red flower on the ribbon wasn't originally suppose to go there, but after I dropped some TH ink on the paper I had to cover it up...shhh, don't tell my Mom!

My DH is making my light tent right now! I'm so excited! I am somewhat photography challenged so if this can help, I'm all for it. At least I won't be able to blame it on the lighting anymore, LOL.
