And yes, more cards!

I've had fun this weekend! I created a box from scratch in Inkscape - yeah me! But boy, did it take some time. From designing, cutting, tweaking, cutting, tweaking, cutting, tweaking, and so on and so on....But I finally got the box just like I wanted!  The hard part was making it so I could use 8-1/2x11 cardstock.  It has several parts but I'm not sure I could have done it any other way.  The box was for a "cupcake". The Cupcake is just fluffy socks rolled up and a pom-pom on top.   (Of course the traditional cupcake boxes were way too small and I wanted a window in the front).  I made a card to "go along" with the cupcake. So here it is:

I also made a card last week for a friend that is experiencing some medical issues (I won't say who, just in case she's reading this....I think it might be Tuesday before she gets this).   I wished I had finished it sooner but I kept tweaking the layout of the card. In the end, I think it turned out OK,  hopefully it'll lift her spirits some!

Hope everyone has a great week and Merry Christmas!!

Cute -
hint on google - at the top is an area that says images - then when that opens on the left side you can specify Black and white or clip art - there are a few nice fly fishing cliparts on there - I just looked.
