Deck The Halls

with boughs of holly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.
Tis the season to be jolly,
Fa la la la la, la la la la.

Ok Ok, I'll stop singing now (I think I hear the animals howling). I can gleefully say, I have done NO as in nada, zilch, nope, nothing, zero Christmas shopping. Not to proud of that but hopefully I'll correct this tomorrow, in fact, I hope to get it all done, Ok maybe not all but 90% done. Anything is better than 0%, right??
Still fighting this sickness thing but have a good feeling about it all now. I switched my main Doctor yesterday. The one I had was highly recommended by friends but must say, I don't recommend her at all!! Well I guess if you never get sick and never need to see her, she would probably be OK, but since that ain't me, I need one I can count on. I do believe I found her!! She is very personable, appears very knowledgeable and even very familar with all my lung issues. Yep, I think she's a keeper!! Just the fact of knowing I now have a good Doctor that I can go to makes me feel better (along with her and my pulmonologist, I'm in good hands!)
Oh, enough about me 'cuz I'm sure you didn't come here to read about my Dr visits, LOL. So onto what you are really wanting to see. I had to make a Non- traditional color Christmas card for a friend on one of my Yahoo groups I belong to. (OK, is there a non-traditional Christmas color anymore..I mean, really, I'm seeing more pinks, purples, blues than I am reds and greens lately!) I took the SWAP to really mean a Christmas card with no red or green. Here is what I came up with:
Oh, don't you just love this bear! I am so happy that the Magnolia line seems to be bringing in a lot of animals lately! And to me, CoCo is just da bomb!! Also love that she can be Christmas or any occasion...I'll definitely have her help me out with Birthday cards, hee-hee.

She is just so adorable I just want to pinch her cheeks!  I colored her with Copics and Spectrum Noirs. I love using the 2 lines together, they give me so many more choices.
and for my usual inside peek....Oh Oh do you see the dies? The ornament dies are from My Favorite Things!! I AM SO IN LOVE WITH THIS STORE!!! It's one of my favorite things, LOL.  They just came out with their own line of inkpads to match and oh-my-gosh, they are fantastic!! Well, I only have 2 but those 2 are fantastic!! I will get them all!! And customer service....well let's just say, FANTASTIC! I'm not sure if you know this yet, but I love this store!
Oh, back to my post now.....well, that's about it anyway. Thanks for stopping by, I know you are busy with the holidays.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
...and to all, a good night.

Awww Paula she is unBEARABLY cute ... Don't you just love images that are so versatile...love the color & paper choice. Like you say it's getting to be red & green that is "unusual" anymore. Dont know where I've been but I haven't even seen these cute animals from Magnolia. Don't feel bad, I haven't got one thing bought for Christmas either ... Everyone around me has decorated a lot for the Holidays & I haven't even put up a tree. I'm beginning to feel like Scrooge ...
Glad you've found a Dr you are happy with & hope you will be 100% before long. With your always upbeat attitude you SOUND wonderful ...
Hugs, Janie

This card is so sweet Paula! I love the color and the poinsettias on the left are so pretty. The ribbon and circle with the sentiment is very nice, I love your card. I love your singing too and I am sure the animals were signing with you!
I hope your new Doctor will help you solve this illness. I know it is frustrating so wishing you well!!

First things first -- I am so glad that you have a new doctor that you have new found confidence in and hope. That is very important! Lung issues are serious so knowing that your are in the hands of two good doctors is great news.
Your card is gorgeous with beautiful colors and so well designed. We all know that you are one talented lady. The inside is wonderful too!
Beautifully done sugar!!

Paula, this is so darn cute! I love that bear and I confess that I did not purchase this one yet. Your card is tempting me! Well it doesn''t take much to tempt me though. Anyway I'm so happy to hear that you found a doctor who you feel can help you recover. I wish you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year too.
