Stamp Something

Happy Saturday!!  I had a late night last night and now I can barely keep my eyes open....definitely a nap in my near future :)  It seems like it's been so long since I posted anything...not sure why, other than just laziness I guess. I have been quite busy. I have quite a few projects that need posting, but I'll spread them out a bit so not to overwhelm you, LOL. And once again, I grabbed a maggie to help me out with this project. I had a SWAP to do and the theme was stamp something....simple enough (except for my brain...I tend to wayyyyy over think things!) Since I just couldn't stamp a card and leave it at that, I decided to make a little bag to go along with the adorable Maggie.  I used one of my favorite templates for the bag, it's the Haute Tote from Creations by AR! It's so easy to make, only takes me about an hour (and that probably translates to most people as a few minutes).  I used the "regular-size" Tilda and the "mini" Tilda for this project (just love those little girls!).
And believe it or not, the flowers are not WOC this time, (I know, I can't believe it myself).  I bought some great NellieSnellen punches!! They are the Rose Flowers, I used the Jumbo (FLP030), the medium (FLP028) and the small rose (FLP027). They cut great and have a embossing "punch" that embosses them, too! How cool is that!! And if you look closely you can see that the leaves are embossed also...it's the Rose Leaf punch (FLP029).   After using these the first time, I can say I will be getting more of these punches in the future.  I got mine from the wonderful Darlene over at Dutch Paper Crafts. Oh and also, the tag is a Marianne die (LR0154) that I just recently got from Darlene.  It is a set and I actually bought the set for the larger tag, but fell in love with this little adorable one (You'll be seeing the larger one soon along with more of this mini one!)
OK, that's it for me now...it's taken me about all morning to type this. Between watching Women's Tennis (way to go Serena and USA!!!) and  men's soccer, Mexico and Senegal I haven't been very attentive to this post. I'll try to do better next time, LOL.  I have more to post so I'll come back Monday-ish.  Off to finish watching some soccer!!

Hey Paula - how in the world do you make those neat pocket books. You go the extra mile and it sure does show. I love your flowers - think of all the money you'll save by making your own. Besides - I think they have more character and you can make flowers with all kinds of papers. You sure did yourself proud sugar pie!!!
