Pencil Time

I tried my hand at using the Prismacolor pencils!  I have had some of the pencils for a while now, but I had them put away and really never thought about using them.  On of the the Yahoo groups I'm in, the girls have been using their pencils and the results were fantastic!! So, why not dig them back out and try it.   I did enjoy playing but have to say, I have A LOT of work ahead of me with them.  I must google some tutorials with them when I play with them next time. I kinda just winged it on this card and it shows, but hey, I did try!
This was a card I made for a SWAP that was called Everything's coming up roses.  And of course, I used some WOC roses (gosh I just love them! I really think I put them on about 95% of all my cards...yes I do have a problem, LOL).
Here's a close-up of the coloring.  If you know of any good sites for tutorials, pleeeease let me know. I enjoy using the pencils but like I said, I have a long way to go before I'm comfortable with them.
And now for the inside peek:
That's it for now. I'm working on quite a few other cards, bags and surprises so be sure to stop by again soon.

so sweet Paula! Colored like a pro! I think coloring with color pencils is very slow and I'm slow anyway! Sure fun to try though and your coloring is beautiful!
