New Marianne Dies!

It's that time again, so sit back and get comfortable, this is a LONG post. I'm here to show off some of the newer Marianne Dies! And let me tell you, they rock!! I think this is a very versatile group of dies that can be used on just about any project (You will definitely be seeing a lot more of them on my projects!) And of course you can find all of these dies at Dutch Paper Crafts (Darlene can hook you up!)
To start off the festivities, is the ultra versatile and super easy flower die, LR0196. I'll put together a tutorial on how to assemble these if there is request for it.

For the pink polka dot flower I used all 3 sizes of the flower die, but for the blue gingham, I only used the smaller 2 dies.
I used several other dies available thru Dutch Paper Crafts on this too. The "doily" is from the Heartfelt Creations Layered Elegant Swirl Die, the mini flowers are from the Heartfelt Creations Layered Scalloped Posy Die, Butterfly is from CheeryLynn Exotic Butterflies Small, DL112. Oh and almost forgot about the stamp! It's Dawn with Flowers from Nellie Snellen!! And if you ask Darlene, she can special order you these stamps! They are the cutest images!!
Next project I used 2 dies from this new release:
I used the Key, LR0193 and the leaves from LR0192. Very versatile dies!! Oh, and yet another Nellie Snellen stamp, Dawn with kitten - isn't she just adorable!!. Fill this gift bag up with some chocolates and this will make a great Valentine gift (and easy to make, too)
Here's a picture of the back side (used the flower die again..LOVE IT!!). oh and also, the leaves die, LR0192.
Next up are the scissors dies:
This one is the LR0194, the Classic Scissors. The image is from Saturated Canary, I am SO falling in love with them!!!
Here is the Vintage Scissors, LR0195:
I made a cute tag that could accompany a handmade gift!
And another die that can be used in many different ways, is the Sign Board Die, LR0191:
I just love this die set!! It can be used as a sign post (above) or as a lamp post (above)! I made a step card so I could use both of the options (I can be very indecisive!!)
Here is a side view where you can see the dimension on this card. I really love how this one turned out! If you look close, you'll see I used the small flowers from the Heartfelt Creations Layered Scalloped Posy Die, the cute cat is from the CheeryLynn Die, Screen Door with Cat, A2164, and the grass is also a CheeryLynn Die, B126. Did I mention I really love this card...it's got so much dimension and just so cute!
So are you still with me? If so, I've got one more die to show. It's the Lantern, LR0190. Now with this one, you can make it 3D or jsut add to a card, both are great ways to use.
On this project I also used the Marianne Die, Branch Forest, LR0150. On the card, I used the flower and die from Papertrey Ink, too.
Here is the lantern, tt was easy to make. I just cut out the lantern 4 times, added some vellum on the doors, and distress the edges. I cut some narrow strips to help firm it up and attached those on the inside edges.  Now this can be functional too. You can't tell, but I put in a little battery operated tea light! Works perfectly!!

If you have any questions about the lantern, or about any of the projects listed drop me an email and I'll do my best to answer them!
Phew, that's it for today. I'm glad you stuck around to the end! So if you have any time left, please drop me a note and let me know what you think! And don't forget, go by and see Darlene at Dutch Paper Crafts and get some of these awesome dies, would love to see what you make with them!!!
