Running Tildas!

The thing I like most about blogging and crafting is the wonderful people you meet. Though for most of us, we will never meet the people face to face but we chat online and develop a true friendship. Through this,  I've had the pleasure of "meeting" Rita.  She is just a sweetheart of a person! She had seen a bag I did for a Magnolia-licious SWAP (see here) and asked if I would make one for her! Well I just jumped at this chance. She's the one that designed my blog and I owe her so much for this.  All she asked was a tote large enough for a magazine, the color blue and a Tilda image.  So I ran with that (pun alert - Running Tilda, I ran with that...OK, so maybe it's just my sense of humor)! And once I started this project, it just kept going....After I finished the bag, I just couldn't mail her the bag without a card AND a tag (that just wouldn't be right, now would it?) Off to make a card and a tag....I tried my hand at a Criss-Cross card and just fell in love with this style. Then while making the tag, I ran across Caroline's blog and saw her adorable Charm bracelet made with the shrinkable plastic.  So I thought to myself, "Self, wouldn't this just be the cutest zipper pull ever!" And so I answered back "OMG, yes and I even have some of that Shrinky Dink paper that I have never used!" Voila -I included a zipper pull!!

Ok, I'm inserting a warning here - MANY PICTURES TO FOLLOW, PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Here is the complete set of Tildas (phew, A lot of Tildas....) The card, the tag, the bag and the zipper pull!
Here is the Criss Cross card....love this style and will definitely be making this again!!
I used a mini Tilda on the tag and of course used more WOC flowers!
I embroidered Rita's name on one side of the bag.
On the other side of bag, I colored Tilda on the pocket. (see the Running Tilda theme, did I go a little overboard, LOL)
I attached the tag to bag before I mailed off the package (I hope it was all intact when it arrived!!)
At this point I was on a roll and couldn't stop myself, hee-hee. So here's my Running Tilda on Shrinky Dink for a zipper pull!!
Isn't she just too cute! I'm surprised how easy it is to use Shrinky Dink (OK, so I used up some sheets before I finally got it right, but at least I know now how to do it!!)
Enough pictures, huh? Well Rita received the package today and loved it, phew! If you have a moment, tell me whatcha think!
