Take note

Look at me posting twice in one week, am I something or what, LOL!  Today I have not 1 card/post-it notes holder but 2 (I warned you I was on a roll!). Remember my post, Can you Keep a Secret, I had made my sister a surprise card and posted it before she got it. Well I knew the girls in her office would see it, so I asked them to shhhhh, keep a secret.  And guess what - they did! You girls rock (shout out Susan and Teresa)!! So to show my thanks, I made them their very own card/post-it note holder.  I don't think they will get them until Monday, my sister, (I mean my much older sister, hee-hee) won't be back in the office til then. Ok, so here's a warning SUSAN and TERESA, if you want to be surprised STOP now and go away from my blog! But if you can't wait....It's coming to you on Monday!!
Here's Susan's card/post-it noteholder (I really must find out what these things are called):
Here are pictures of it opened:

I was told Susan is a huge NCSU fan so I chose to use a red theme for her's.  And I hear Teresa is huge UNC fan so, naturally I went with a light blue color scheme (wow, must make for interesting office talk during basketball season!!)
Here's Teresa's (oops, forgot to get a picture of it closed, but you get the idea)

To Susan and Teresa, thanks for keeping a secret and hope you enjoy your 'lil gift!
Off work today, so going to go play some! Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Hey Low Country Lady! LOL! My son graduated from NC State and my daughter graduated from UNC - Chapel Hill. Both of these projects are fabulous and I envy you talent. You put together some mighty pretty stuff. Now if you can cook shrimp and grits as well as you make cards - I will be right down - ya hear!?!

OMG!! These are gorgeous Paula. I'd love to have a go at making one. Did you make the little box with the notes in or do they come like that? The one with Tilda is so lovely and bright. I love those colors together.
The other one is so different and the colors are soft and lovely.
Fabuous job on both. they will be well received.
